DownloadStatus was declared four times, byte for byte identically, in
radarr_models, sonarr_models, lidarr_models, and readarr_models: the same
variants, the same derive list, and the same serde, strum, and display_style
attributes. Every servarr's queue endpoint reports the same status
vocabulary, so there is nothing servarr specific about the type.
Move it into servarr_models, preserving that file's alphabetical ordering
(between DiskSpace and IndexerSettings), and drop the four copies. The
DownloadRecord types keep their per-servarr shapes and now reference the
shared enum.
The two enum tests, test_download_status_display and
test_download_status_to_display_str, were likewise duplicated in the four
per-servarr model test files. Keep one copy of each in servarr_models_tests
alongside the other shared enum display tests and delete the rest. The
per-servarr DownloadRecord fallback deserialization tests stay where they
are since they exercise each servarr's own record type.
Behavior is unchanged. Every remaining edit is an import path update.
test_handler_delegation! asserted only that the current route equalled the
base block after Esc. When the delegated block was itself the base block the
stack read [base, base], so that assertion held whether or not the sub-handler
popped, and the case asserted nothing.
Capture the navigation stack depth before delegating and assert it drops by
exactly one, which also catches a handler that pops and then re-pushes. Depth
is read through a test-only accessor on App; the navigation_stack field stays
private.
Main tab blocks clear errors on Esc rather than popping, by design, so they
cannot be probed this way at all. Drop them from the delegation value lists;
the remaining values in each list already exercise the same dispatch arm.
Two of the three rows carried the quality EPUB, so sorting by quality left them tied and any reordering confined to that pair was invisible. The rows now use EPUB, AZW3 and MOBI, matching the vocabulary the history UI fixture already uses.
This one is defensive: no natural mutation of the quality comparator flipped from surviving to failing, because two distinct values already separated the cross-field cases. The tie is removed on principle rather than to close a demonstrated hole.
Readarr handler tests never asserted which block the search and filter keys push, so transposing searching_block and filtering_block in a TableHandlingConfig went undetected. History already had both tests; add the five missing search key tests and the three missing filter key tests, covering the authors, books, author history, editions and book history tables. The books and editions tables configure no filtering_block, so they get no filter test.
No test moved a table or list selection off index 0 either, which made current_selection() and items[0] indistinguishable. Select a non-zero index in the tests covering every handler that reads a selected row, adding a decoy entry at index 0 so existing expected values stay meaningful. The profile, monitor and root folder lists inside the add author, edit author and add root folder prompts are a separate gap that a table-only sweep misses, so those are covered too, as are the book files, editions and releases tables held on the book details modal.
Several fixtures also asserted against a default value, so the expected result was indistinguishable from an unset field. The add author, edit author and add root folder bodies now expect non-default monitor options, and the quality and metadata profile ids are drawn from disjoint id pairs so the two lookups cannot be transposed.
An author's overview renders as the last line of a description box that
does not scroll, so a long overview overflows with no way to read the
rest. Pressing v on the author details Books tab now opens a popup
holding the full overview.
The popup owns its own ScrollableText, built fresh from the author's
overview when it opens and torn down on Esc so a reopened popup starts
at the top. Scrolling mutates only that owned state. The background
paragraph renders the Author record's overview, which carries no scroll
offset, so it cannot scroll along with the popup.
Add a view keybinding bound to v, cite it from the author details
context clues, and give the popup its own clue set so it does not
inherit the hints of the view underneath.
Add IndexersHandler and its three sub-handlers, EditIndexerHandler, IndexerSettingsHandler and TestAllIndexersHandler, and dispatch to them from ReadarrHandler.
IndexersHandler::accepts ORs in all three children, so the parent and the children land together. Splitting would leave eighteen blocks accepted but inert, with Esc falling through to handle_clear_errors instead of popping.
TestAllIndexersHandler::accepts compares the block for equality rather than consulting an array, since TestAllIndexers appears in no block array.
SystemHandler owns the System tab: tab movement, the refresh key, and the
five keys that open the queued events, logs, tasks, and updates views. It
delegates every system detail block to SystemDetailsHandler, which scrolls
the log, task, queued event, and update views and drives the start task
confirmation prompt.
Both land together because SystemHandler::accepts covers the system detail
blocks that only SystemDetailsHandler implements, so landing the parent
alone would accept those blocks while doing nothing with them.
Handles the delete book prompt opened from the author details view,
toggling whether to delete files on disk and whether to add a list
exclusion before confirming.
Backing out of the prompt resets both toggles, so preferences from an
abandoned delete cannot leak into the next one.

Handles the multi-step edit prompt covering monitored, monitor new
items, quality profile, metadata profile, path, tags, and confirmation.
The prompt can be opened from either the author list or the author
details view, so the originating block is threaded through to the
sub-block pushes and Esc returns to the view the user came from.
Handles the add author search input, search results, and the multi-step
add prompt covering root folder, monitor, monitor new items, quality
profile, metadata profile, tags, and confirmation.
Selecting a search result whose foreign author id already exists in the
library routes to the already-in-library popup instead of the add
prompt, so a duplicate add cannot be submitted.
Pressing Del on the Editions tab opened a delete prompt operating on the
currently selected book file, which is not visible from that tab. On the
File tab, where the book files are listed, Del did nothing even though the
tab advertised a "delete book file" hint.
Gate the delete on the File tab instead and drop the now inaccurate hint
from the Editions tab clue set.
A Readarr edition carries no file id, unlike a Lidarr track, so the book
files live in their own table and the delete cannot be driven from the
editions table.
The book details handler already accepted the book file info block, but the
tab state declared only three tabs, so left and right could never reach it.
Add the File tab between History and Manual Search, backed by a new context
clue static covering refresh, delete book file, and esc.
Add EditionDetailsHandler, the single block popup opened from the editions
table. It owns the arrow, Home and End scrolling over its ScrollableText body,
and the Esc that pops the popup and clears the edition details modal.
The handler is nested under BookDetailsHandler, which claims the block ahead
of its own tables. It never sees the keypress that opens it, so it performs no
build, and it dispatches no network events: the popup is assembled from an
already loaded row.
Scrolling is implemented rather than stubbed. The body is mostly the edition
overview, which routinely overflows the popup, so empty scroll methods would
leave the arrow keys dead on the longest text in the view.
Add BookDetailsHandler, covering the editions, history and manual search
tables, the automatic search, manual download and delete book file prompts,
and tab movement across the book details modal.
Selecting an edition builds the EditionDetailsModal client side from the
already loaded row and pushes the popup block. Readarr has no edition detail
endpoint, so there is no network request and no event to dispatch.
The delete book file prompt is guarded on the book files table being
populated. Unlike Lidarr, where a track row carries its own file id, an
edition carries none and the file id comes from a separate table that can be
empty while editions are present.
Add LibraryHandler, which owns the authors table and its sort, search,
and filter overlays through TableHandlingConfig, along with the add,
edit, toggle monitoring, update all, and refresh key actions and the
delete prompt. Dispatch into it from ReadarrHandler and add the main tab
left and right movement helper.
authors_sorting_options offers eight sorts: name, status, quality
profile, metadata profile, books, size, monitored, and tags. It omits
the type and tracks sorts that the artists table has. GET /author never
returns authorType, so that column would be empty on every row, and
author statistics carry no track count.
Also cover the Readarr arm of handle_events, which was previously
unreachable from any test: neutering the arm entirely left the suite
green.
Promote Route::Readarr from a unit stub to a tuple variant and wire Readarr
through every layer, mirroring the Lidarr tree. Readarr appears as a fourth
servarr tab and its library view renders the Authors table.
Adds ReadarrData and its modals, the tick and context clue modules, the
top-level ReadarrHandler, ReadarrUi with the Authors library view, and an
empty ReadarrCommand behind ReadarrCliHandler. The default port is 8787.
Promoting the route variant compiles cleanly without any of the arms that
give it behaviour, so all six of those sites are wired explicitly here:
App::on_tick, handlers::handle_events, handle_prompt_toggle,
ServarrContextClueProvider, ui(), and verify_config_present_for_cli. Each was
checked by removing the arm and confirming its covering assertion then fails.
ReadarrEvent and ReadarrCommand are both declared empty. They gain variants
alongside the network calls and CLI commands that use them, which keeps each
later change to a single function.
Adding the tab changes the rendered tab bar, so 13 existing snapshots
regenerate. The only delta in each is that single tab bar line.
This scaffold adds 24 dead_code warnings, all inside the Readarr tree and
none outside it. They clear as the handlers, UI, network events, and CLI
commands that consume these items land: block arrays awaiting their accepts
implementations and BlockSelectionState seeding, modal and state fields
awaiting their handlers, the CLI handler fields awaiting an inhabited command
enum, and the top-level handler fields awaiting sub-handlers. The count must
strictly decrease from here, so a later increase is a defect rather than
transient noise. The 12 pre-existing collapsible_match warnings are unrelated
and untouched.
